Macos and automatic launch of Music app

So, you have your beloved headphones and every time you connect them, for some reason this little Music app on Macos starts playing your local playlist while you are about to hop on a zoom call. Quite annoying.

Apparently you can't disable Music app. There are no settings to remove autostart either. Not much you can do really.

So, here's the trick I did and writing it down to remember it next time:

in your terminal: brew install --cask notunes

This will install the notunes app (see more info here), don't forget to put it auto start at login.
